I am curious.  I just read that I should only be eating one vegetable at a time with each meal.  I have not been doing this.  I though the more vegetables the better.  I have been mixing up several vegies wih my meat and eating it on a lettuce wrap.  I was thinking this was a great way to do it but now I hear I may be totally messing up.

Please help

Yes the veggie restriction really seems to be limited. so after much research  and rereading the original Dr. Simions diet , I believe it is strick for the fact that controling the veggies eaten was necessary for utmost weight loss. the veggies chosen are high in vitamin and nutrients.

I have communicated  with hundreds of dieters .and the dieters that lost the most weight were the ones that stuck to 1 veggie only on the list  at a time . so my suggestions ;LETS DO WHAT WE KNOW WORKS . we have all done our own thing and it hasnt helped us lose weight or be at the weight we want. ; so for the short time we do the hcg simions pound and inches protocal we should do as it says. agreed?

There are many different veggies that arent on the diet protocal, and many dieters have emailed me saying. is it because they didnt have that particular veggie in rome? well I am unsure if rome had or didnt have them but I do know people from all over the world went to Dr. Simeons weight loss center in  rome Italy, and I am certain it came up many times.I am sure veggies could have been brought in and  yet Dr Simeon never varied from his veggie list. soo with all that being said why change what is tried and true? I have added ways to cook the veggies on the list and most are readily available at local markets.

I wish you the best on your weight loss. If you have any other qustion please submit them. Babs

While it is important to stick to the diet almost religiously, I found that when I simply COULD NOT STAND it, vegtibles are a healthy way to satiate hunger pains.  I stuck with the recomended vegtibles but "any reasonable ammount" means diffrent things to diffrent people.  To me it means "untill the hunger pains go away".  I was still able to loose nearly 40 pounds!

I'll bet you've never even taken the time to consider what your nutritional needs might be, or the importance of that nutrition on your health. Did you know that if the brain doesn't get enough protein, it doesn't develop correctly, or if the healthy female body doesn't get enough flax oil, omega-3 and omega-6 her body's metabolism will not function correctly and she is more susceptible to weight gain? All these pieces of information and many more are contributing factors to our nutritional needs, and our nutritional needs are met through our eating habits, good or bad.
